At the end of every year we talk about all these changes we are going to make. Whether its as small as "I'm going to start working out more" , or as big as " I'm going to stop watering dead plants". We look at our past, and make all these resolutions for the future. Usually we start off the year hot, and then as year goes we fall off. Sometimes we don't really follow through at all and at the end of the year we're right back to square one, making the same resolutions all over again.
Well this year i decided, my mission was to simply grow as an artist and to take my craft more seriously. I want to transform as an artist and change the narrative. For my family, friends, and peers to take me more seriously as an artist. "Energy" was my first shot at that.
The first official shoot with Gilbert Landeros , booking Zunzu last minute, with no real plan in place , she killed it and we hit a home run.
This video is an abstract representation of lost love, found again. Whether through lovers, friends , or within ourselves, we can always find hope even when all feels lost.
